I am studying for my MA in social work... and as part of my studies i need to do a dissertation. i have chosen to look at the experiences of muslim reverts...
I have been tearing my hair out due to being unable to home in on a sample to help me in my quest...
I have tried to join one specific village on here but the gatekeeper was unwilling to help me... so my friend Sukaina suggested i set up my own village... now i dont have premium membership whcih is why Sukaina has set this up for me :) lovely star she is :)
I dont want this village to be merely a case of people agreeing to help me out and then after which no1 uses the village again... inshlaha this will be a forum where converts can talk to each other freely.

I am a british Asian Muslim and i am currently studying a MA in social work. I am thinking about my dissertation for next year. I want to l k at exploring the experiences of converts to islam, why they convert, difficulties faced etc.
I would find this fascinating to do. However I am finding it very difficult finding people to interview or give questionnaires to.
I was wandering if there are any brothers or sisters who you knew of that wouldnt mind doing a questionnaire as part of my research. The data would be annonomised so there would be no way of individuals being identified.
I would be very greatful if you could consult with any brothers or sisters that you know that have converted to Islam and see if they would be willing to help me out
