has added a new journalYesterday night I received a good surprise from the vaults of FOX. Some of you may be thinking that, that statement is an oxy moron, but it is true. As I watched an episode of Futurama reruns that I had missed before. The TOS Star Trek Episode along with guest appearances by all the original crew members except for Scotty (replaced by Welshy, all pun intended). There was even a cameo by Jonathan Frakes. Interesting episode.

has added a new journalAccording to recent news, J.J. Abrams is thinking of tapping Matt Damon for the role of a Young Kirk in the upcoming new Trek movie. I don't know, he can play a lot of roles, but Kirk, hmmm I don't know!

has added a new journalAs Paramount advertises the 40 years of Trek one can't help but wonder if there is any significance or its is just another anniversary ploy to get more people to watch the upcoming movie.

Everything Paramount does is for publicity and for money. but that does not may any less of how great Star Trek is.

has added a new journalHas anyone heard about this. They are thinking of making the new Star Trek movies. Although it is still a long way from being a reality, the expected market date for the movie is supposed to be sometime in 2008.
Its rumored that J.J. Abrams is going to direct this one, but as of yet there is no story or plot that has been finalized.

Just saw the poster for the new star trek movie on the star trek website. Looks great, and I realize that without pumping my expectations too much, I should be looking forward to another classic Star Trek movie.:)

MTG: LOL :D, you're right about spock. I think they are trying to get away from the directors that have been involved with the earlier projects so as to go a different way. I for one think that they need to rest the star trek a little bit.I did finish watching the entire Enterprise 4 seasons though, and I have to say that I really liked all of it. It's really sad the way they had to end it, but anyways. Now I am on my TNG starting from season 1 P:
