thank u jazba, however please do tell where it was ever implied that one should only focus on eg boycotting ?? Ofcourse each person should and needs to look at themselves and endeavour to improve themselves too etc etc. However, the topic at hand here warranted making people aware of some other tools and routes too, not instead of but in addition to !! The key point here is to make difference in not one but try several ways .and you are oh so wrong about a difference not being made btw. Granted not enormous but you know what, every little bit helps. Oh btw i amnt doing things the way i always done them etc...for one, we are supposed to evolve, learn , improve, try etc but naa i amnt in a mood to debate either loll..i have only provided information ,it is up to each person what they chose to do or not do , and how to justify it to themselves or not. Sometimes we know what we doing is not right but still we do that saying "Allah k barosay" and when we see the outcome is exactly the same what we predicted before making the decision but this time the only difference is we say " Jo Allah ko Manzoor". AOA broken-wings., you are very welcome and as always thank you for you comment. Indeed, however, sadly too often culture and religion are blurred or mixed, if people would just really understand and first and foremost follow the basic principles of religion/faith then so much unnecessary pain, suffering etc would diminish. We individuals have to focus on our Nafs first and foremost, use pure religion ie the messages advice therein as our foundation , only then will we make inroads.

In the meantime, Prayer/dua is the least that can be done in my opinion.

May Allah help the Palestinians, millions of Syrians, Iraqis, Egyptians, muslims in Burma, and any human that is being abused. The best is to take action, if not raise your voice, and if not make duwa at minimum in hopes to make a difference.
