  • hmmm... What the he11 were the 'Skins thinking trading their '05 3rd rd pick and '06 1st and 4th rd picks for a measly 25th pick in the '05 first-round!?! Texans did good getting Philip Buchanon from the Raiders for their own '05 2nd & 3rd rd picks. Anytime you can add a proven starter who has an impact on the game week in & week out... gotta go for it! Just a year ago, the Raiders were often w/o many draft picks and had to hit the free-agency market hard, leaving a big ... Read More

  • By Dr. Mansoor Alam Muslims are supposed to work together towards a common goal set by the Quran and shown by the Prophet (PBUH) through his Sunnah. The Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH) require Muslims to work for the unity of the Ummah. Muslims are required to be merciful towards each other (The Quran (48:29)) and be like th... • Rooting for the Good Guys By THOMAS L. FRIEDMAN On the surface, the dramas playing out among Israeli Jews - over whether to withdraw from the Gaza Strip - and among Iraqi, Lebanese and Palestinian Arabs - over how to share power - may seem totally disconnected. But in fact they are all variations on a theme: can democracy really take root or thrive in the Middle East? Lord knows, I am rooting for the good guys here.
