  • A 70-year-old man went to the doctor's for a physical. The doctor ran some tests and said to the man, "Well, everything seems to be in top condition physically, but what about mentally? How is your connection with God?" And the man answered, "Oh me and God? We have a really tight bond, he's so good to me. Every night when I have to get up to go to the bathroom, he turns on the light for me, and then, when I leave, he turns it back off." The Doctor was astonished. He called the man's wife and said, "I'd lik... Read More

  • I sent flowers to someone who was moving to Florida for a job promotion. I also sent flowers the same day to a funeral for a friend. I found out later that the flower shop got the cards mixed up. They sent the card to the guy who was moving that said, "Deepest Condolences," and sent the card to the funeral home that said, "I know it's hot where you're going, but you deserve it."

    May 20, 2005 at 11:09pm
Khalid- This was the first funeral I attended and its only because I knew the guy. But I do know its Makrooh for a woman to attend a funeral due to our sensitive state and that ...

  • Rediciulious!! Vin Diesel at least was believable in being a punk, but after watching the Friday series or the barber shop, how can u believe that stubby ice cube was a mean navy seal or special forces!! Dumb movie, and the only thing with theat movie is that u realize that good actors like Dafoe and Sam Jackson will do anything to get paid Mo money.

  • Jet Li acting was good so are the action scenes BUT if u can't believe the concept in the first 5 minutes then u will have negative feelings at the rest of the movie. Not the best action from Jet Li, I still think Kiss of the Dragon was the Best Jet Li Action Flick.

    May 16, 2005 at 2:59pm
Thanks for the info, I will add that movie to my Que on netflix
    May 16, 2005 at 2:51pm
Best Jet li action flick has to be 'Fist of Legend'...he actually tries to fight on screen with no wires...his fight scenes are heavily dependent on them usually.

  • Great acting and chemistry between Nicole Kidman and Sean Penn, The story is nice, the ending in ifffy, but worth the price of admission.

  • The front runner for oscar nominations already. Great acting from some unhearalded actors such as Matt Dillon, Terence Howard, Sandra Bullock, Don Cheadle, Thandi Newoton. Great movie about racisim, redemption, and the fine line between good and evil.

    May 18, 2005 at 3:11am
A good film - a bit heavy handed in spots - but worth checking out for sure.

  • You will kick and scream if u watched that movie, I am not a Will Ferrel Fan, but I saw that masterpeiece (Not). Its more a movie for soccer mams and dads, and very shallow take on relationship betweenparents and kids. The best thing about the movie is Mike Ditka, and the worst is Will Ferrel. Wait for the DVD.

  • I'm subletting my 3 bedroom/kitchen/living Rm/office rm/1 bath apartment in a Park Slope Brownstone from July to Jan. 5 blocks from almost any train at Atlantic Ave Sta. 3 blocks from the park, Library & Museum. 3 stops from Manhatten (Q/W). Lots of restaurants & bars in the neighborhood. You can have a car here but you dont really need one. Oh yeah its 5 blocks from all these arabic stores near the Masjid on Atlantic Ave & around the corner from a good supermarket w/ yuppie stuff too.
