THE ONION OLYMPUS MONS?President Bush, who in 2004 announced his desire for a manned mission to Mars, was acquired by a prominent Martian zoo Monday. "The President Bush shall have every comfort of home," said an unknowable Martian intelligence whose name is unfathomable to the human mind. "He shall have his Oval Office, his baseball, and simulated humans from his natural habitat, and we shall watch him most closely, for he is adorable sitting at his desk." Zookeepers on the Red Planet hope Bush will mate... Read More

Source: www.kurzweilai.net We Are the Web Wired, August 2005 The Web, a planet-sized computer, is comparable in complexity to a human brain. Both the brain and the Web have hundreds of billions of neurons (or Web pages). Each biological neuron sprouts synaptic links to thousands of other neurons, while each Web page branches into dozens of hyperlinks. That adds up to a trillion "synapses" between the static pages on the Web. The human brain has a... Read More

Various Naseeb members have posted photos of themselves posed with me. Does this mean they are truly in love with me? If so, two members, specifically, MissChe and HijabiJinan, both love me. Can I be loved by more than one Naseeb girl? Or will Iman and Jinan have to fight over who has the rights to Ali? I'm thinking a mudfight at ISNA would be the best way to settle this, and not to mention, a big crowd pleaser. Are you ready to rumble?

This is a disturbing story. Please be advised. Some of you might've heard about it. The Army Captain had tied her arms and legs and threatened her to keep quiet or else he'd kill her. The ordeal lasted the whole night and the culprit repeatedly raped her and beat her, meanwhile taking some breaks to w... Read More

Sabr or Shukr ~ The Worry Stops Here by Muhammad Alshareef Aasiyah, the wife of Fir'own. Her Eeman in Allah thrived under the shadow of someone that said, "I am your Lord, Most High!" When news reached Fir'own of his wife's Eeman he beat her and commanded his guards to beat her. They took her out in the scalding noon heat, tied her hands and feet and beat her perpetually. Who did she turn to? She turned to Allah! She prayed, "My lord, build for me a home with you in Paradise and save me from Fir'own and his ... Read More

When Friends Hurt Each Other by Muhammad Alshareef In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful Imam Malik one day entered the Masjid after Asr. Towards the front of Masjid An-Nabawee he drew closer and sat down. Rasul Allah had commanded that anyone who enters the Masjid should not sit until he first prays 2 rakas as a salutation of the Masjid. Imam Malik was of the opinion however that Rasul Allahs forbiddance of praying after Asr took precedence and so he would teach his students to not pray t... Read More

What did you learn about yourself as a result, and about the bullies ~ semi-disclaimer : if this stuff is too personal, feel free to speak more generally, or stay away from the je altogether ~
