I'm suprised that no one's brought up the Nobel Prize for Literture going to Brit playwright Harold Pinter this year. One of my good friends is a HUGE Pinter fan but I, myself, haven't read (or watched) any of his works. What are your thoughts about him?
October 16, 2005 at 8:26pmI haven't seen any of Pinter's plays, but you've gotta admire his passion for politics. I've heard him speak at anti-war events, and he doesn't mince his words.

In case any of you missed the rivetting news: Daniel Craig ? a 37-year old Brit with 34 movies to his credit but largely unknown outside the United Kingdom has been chosen as the sixth 007. Craig is considered more movie tough guy than pretty boy. He replaces Pierce Brosnan and has beaten bigger box office draws like Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor and Orlando Bloom to get the role. pic: Craig in Casino Royale, the new Bond flick out in '06.
