  • I think it's because I love cats soo much....but sometimes during the day, I randomly meow at random times of the day. It's become soo much of a ritual for me that I almost do it involuntarily. In fact, I think I've also distilled this on my sister--we greet each other by meows rather than salaams. How odd is that?

    January 29, 2006 at 11:00am
Any normal person would think: very, very odd, or even retarded. However, as a cat lover, I believe your meowing behavior is not unusual. I myself have the habit to meow aggres...

  • Salaamz peeps. My favorite Pakistani group, Jal, is performing LIVE in concert on June 17th at William Ramsey Elementary School in Alexandria, VA. (The location is yet to be confirmed.) Turns out another talented artist by the name of Haroon Rashid, originally from pop group Awaz, will be there as well. Some other personalities whom I'm not familiar with will also appear. I am in love with Jal, from "Ek aadat si hai mujhko" to "Woh lamhey" and so on. They became a sensation even before their album offically d... Read More

  • I just got kicked out of MemonPride. I must have been too white (this is "Goldphool" Amina's Mom). I didn't even make any comments! What's up with that?

  • Just saw "Layer Cake" which was good fun. Like a lot of crime/caper movies nowadays, it went a little overboard with the plot twists, but it was enjoyable. There's one classic scene with Colm Meaney...

    June 15, 2005 at 8:45pm
True, true. That one scene was great. So minimalist. My brother and I were deeply appreciative. Nice use of The Cult's "She sells sanctuary" as well.
