  • Can attraction be unintentional? Your living your life, minding your own business and out of no where u find urself drawn, pulled, attracted to someone of the opposite sex...isn't there enough time for brain to kick in and evaluate the choice? or are we left to devices of biological forces of attraction? You've heard the excuses, "We didn't mean to, it just happened?" Is that a cop-out excuse or a description of a true phenomena? What's your opinion?

    September 3, 2005 at 5:50am
Attraction is choice when you hold a gun to their head. Lesson #1 that was provided in the JE on Chipkoos can be applied in the issue of Attraction :P

  • Julaybib (R) - A Short Biography His name was unusual and incomplete. Julaybib (R) means "small grown". It is the diminutive form of the word "Jalbab". The name is an indication that Julaybib (R) was small and short. More than that, he is described as being "damam" which means ugly, deformed, or of repulsive appearance. Even more disturbing, for the society in which he lived, Julaybib's lineage was not known. There is no record of who his mother and father were, or to what tribe he belonged. This was consi... • What do you call a person who was born in America but was brought up in Pakistan? I know for a fact that when I moved back to the US I was fresh off the boat. And I guess there were moments in my childhood where I was confused by virtue of my birthplace, even if I was too young to recognize it as confusion. To be perfectly honest, I still get confused when someone asks me where I am from. There have been 4 migrations in the past 3 generations of my family. I'm from here. And there. And everywhere. I like to ca... Read More

  • There was this case in the hospital's Intensive Care ward where patients always died in the same bed, on Sunday morning at 11 a.m., regardless of their medical condition. This puzzled the doctors and some even thought that it had something to do with the supernatural. Why the death? So the doctors decide to go down to the ward to investigate the cause of the incidents. So on the next Sunday morning few minutes before 11 a.m., all doctors and nurses nervously wait outside the ward to see for themselves what the t... Read More
