Recently at a fellow naseebers birthday do, i went to the Strongrooms at 120 Curtain Road in Shorditch. To my suprise there was a band playing, they had a very 80's pop kind of synthersizer sound, which I love. They were really good. I think they are the British version of Scissor sisters. They were called the "Modern Love Party" and theri album is due for release in November.

I have to say that these guys were excellent, They were so good i feel like swearing! They really seem like nice guys but better than that they have a team thing going on, they have been together for 18 years so I guess thay have had plenty of time to perfect the art of performing. They really know how to get the crowd to praticipate. If anyone is free tongiht PLEASE GO, I definately recommend going if you like old school hip hop. I rate the a 9.5 out of 10. I just thought id add this bit of tip for people.. As Ive been on a heavy routine, I had a lot of stretchmarks around the biceps... Apart from the usual cocobutter, which stinks, I would recommend bio-oil www.bio-oil.info) I found it very affective. And doesnt stink like cocco butter. Its also good to even skin out and to achieve an even skintone. Reduces the appearance of scars too. You usually notice it working in just a few doses.
