Do you have a link to what this movie is about? Did it even make it to the box office or break 2 mil in sales?

  • I watched this last night and was very dissapointed. This film did not have any of the tension or atmosphere of his old films and the actors were very poor. Don't know what Dennis Hopper was doing in it. Some of the gory scenes were just hilarious. This film made me laugh more than make me cack my pants.

    Agreed.

  • I'm sorry today, has been a bad day for me.. I know when you convert/revert to Islam, your sins are supposed to be forgiven.. You're supposed to have a clean slate.. They say "to err is human, to forgive - divine".. Unfortunately, this seems all too true at the moment. It's very natural to fall into sin, and as an American growing up, I was immersed in it. As far as Americans go, I think I was a pretty good girl. I didn't date or talk to boys until I moved out of my parents house. I never partied... Read More

  • Not quiet what I expected and a great deal less then my hopes for it. Without any spoilers, its hard to explain exactly what my problems with this movie were, but suffice it to say Kate Beckensale's character was a lot whimpier, the guy from Felicity was well... the guy from Felicity. With that said, the grafics and the sets were quiet well done. I thought it was inferior to the Blade movies in terms of story, and was very gory in terms of the action. It was enjoyable for the most part but nothing special I t... Read More

  • We have often pondered the saying "grass is greener on the other side" and yes, sometimes it certainly is, but other times it depends on each individual. The development where I live is an oval consisting of fifty houses so the house situated two houses down across the street is occupied by a Pakistani Pathan family that is incidentally the only other Pakistani family in the neighborhood and came into the development in part based on my dad's recommendation. The family consists of four daughters, all of w... Read More

  • Meet Faizan Sayeed, the five year old terrorist. A threat to our homeland. Someone who, if left without the supervision of a babysitter, might kill thousands of Americans. Welcome to George Bush's America. On a flight from London to Boston, my friend Farah, a naturalized U.S. citizen, and her American-born sons Furqan (7), Faizan (5), and Farhan (6 months) were detained for almost 2 hours at Logan International Airport by the Department of Homeland Security. The reason: five-year old Faizan's name matc... Read More

  • Akira is a manga (as well as a movie). Manga (japanese comics) aren't well known in other countries, but Akira managed to grow even more popular in western countries than in Japan. The american company Marvel has had the original colorised and so all western releases of Akira feature nice colours. The Story is long and complicated, involving gangs of bikers etc and a massive military programme, kind of reminds you of russia and the cold war, and a eugenics movement. There are a bunch of special kids l... Read More

  • Yeah, so I finally bought the CD last night. Some fan I am, eh? Actually I bought the CD/DVD "special edition" version, since I had a $10 Best Buy gift card that was burning a hole in my pocket. So far I like tracks 4 (The Sinner In Me) and 5 (Precious, which i already downloaded from iTunes months ago) but the others have yet to grow on me. I've listened to the CD only once, though. So does anyone have any clear favorites on this CD? Are there any tracks that you usually skip?
