Assalaam alaikum, some one recetly told me that tajweed is very imp on order to learn the quran for example the word khalb in means heart and the word kalb means dog, if we accidently use toe other sound then the whole ayah goes wrong, As alof of ppl here dont know arabiic and i am one of em too sometime si dont even realize i am saying the wrogn word and i read those surahs in my salah. so that makes my salah wrong then.

The West Jersey Animal Shelter is closing at the end of this month. The Pennsauken, NJ shelter had it's license revoked due to unkempt and dangerous conditions for the animals. There are currently 31 dogs and 5 cats on the premises that are in desperate need of adoption. If these animals are not adopted by the end of the month, they will be euthanized. It was so exciting to hear on Friday that a whale had somehow swam upstream into the River Thames! Obviously, I never understood the implications of this at the time. After a failed rescue attempt to take the the whale to deeper water, the whale died at the weekend... How sad. Well, I have finally had the opportunity to "quantify" the centerline punch. I was in Hyderabad ( my adopted city ) and came upon a "test your punching power" carnival game. Basically, it was a sack attached to a scale. I saw people windup and throw their entire body weight into their punches and rack up about 300 psi (maybe it was Newton-meters) so I thought I'd see how high a "one inch punch" would register.....245!!
