  • so, it looks like the deal will be done today. there has been speculation for the past month or so, that Ron Artest may have actually ended up as a Laker. this would have given the Lakers a very strong defensive presence and a much needed second scoring option. unfortunately, what the Pacers wanted back in return was too much for the Lakers to let go. Odom and Bynum were off the table. obviously, Kobe is, and rightly so, untouchable. i had secretly hoped to land Artest but wasn't willing to give up on Odom j... Read More

They would also determine the falsehood of something if it was strange and that its adherents were few. So Allaah brought them the opposite of that, clarifying this in many places of the Qur'aan. the explanation ============= From ... Read More

It is not differences that have caused bloodshed. Rather, its the lack of tolerance for differences. I think this is a basic lesson we should have learned after 1400 years.

  • i think its fair to say that in most civilised societies there are a few recognised carnal sins. not a huge number, so as not to be oppressivley restrictive for the average joe, but a few choice carnal sins, which contravene any even distressed standard of public ethic. killing, raping, steeling being three of the most obvious. a fourth, possibly more important one, i have noticed, has been in severe danger of being relegated to the distant foggy memory of primordial man, in this world of warped surreal a... • Everyone! Woooh...had a really crazy busy day at work today. Hope all of you had a more relaxing one! Ok here's what I wanted to ask y'all... Why is Israel so hated by Muslims worldwide? On a broader level, why have Jews been the most hated race of peoples in history? Please discuss the basis for this hatred and whether you feel it is/is not justified.

  • How do you as a teacher deal with class management? Do you have any good strategies that would prevent disruptive behavior? Do you use rewards and incentives? Does anyone know good websites or articles regarding class management?

  • Dr. Zaki Badawi, principal of the Muslim College and founder of the Imams and Mosques Council (UK) passed away on Tuesday 24th January. Dr Badawi made a great contribution to the well-being of the Muslim community through his scholarship and his tireless efforts to promote inter-faith dialogue between the communities in the UK. May God grant his family, friends and students the patience and perseverance to bear this great loss. We belong to God and to Him is our return.

  • Police are warning all men who frequent clubs, parties and local pubs to be alert and stay cautious when offered a drink from any woman. Many females use a date rape drug on the market called "Beer." The drug is found in liquid form and is available anywhere. It comes in bottles, cans, or from taps and in large "kegs". Beer is used by female sexual predators at parties and bars to persuade their male victims to go home and sleep with them. A woman needs only to get a guy to consume a few units of Beer and th...
