For anyone who enjoyed Cedric Klapsich's light-hearted 'L'auberge Espagnol', you might be interested to know that the director has made a sequel called 'Les Poupees Russes' (Russian Dolls). I attended a gala preview screening a couple of weeks ago. The film was enjoyable, like the first, quite subtle, nothing to get over excited about but a well made film with some interesting themes. Saw this flick the other night and thought it was quite interesting. Shabana Azmi's amazing acting is unparalleled as always and the actress that plays Meethi did a fantastic job portraying a schizophrenic. The ending was a bit abrupt but otherwise, it's a must-see. March 19, 2006 at 9:56pmA great casual place is Tea & Sympathy in the West Village. It's about the size of a postage stamp, so not ideal for groups. But their jasmine tea and scones are amazing.
