As a kid, I used to love reading fairy tales from the ladybird series to Grimms Bros and Hans Andersen series... I cant wait to be able to read these stories to my kids -IA... Anyway, what is your favourite tale and why? I've always loved Cinderella - purely because she gets to be with her Prince Charming and live happily ever after. I love the pumpkin carriage and the beautiful gown she wears to the ball. I also have small enough feet to fit the glass slipper ;-)
June 21, 2005 at 3:56amI used to read that teenage witch story..Matilda or something..god I loved that book..June 20, 2005 at 7:30pmactually, i'd rather know the fairy tales as i had originally read them and where they all lived happily ever after....

I went to a Maharashtrian engagement party this past weekend and I was talking to my friend's (the one who got engaged) fiancee's uncle. And he asked where my family was from...I said Hyderabad...and he said, "aah Hyderabad, known for its urdu shairi, wonderful cuisine, best pearls, and beautiful women" Some uncles are quite "advanced" eh? But hey, it appears Hyderabad is known for its beautiful women too ;)

Mistakes are a part of life. Everyone says that, but do they really believe it? Some people, when they make a big blunder, they say it is their biggest failure in life. In some cases, people take the unwanted results to the edge and perhaps do something of a drastic measure. What has been your biggest FAILURE in Life? Admit it!......

As you know the confederations cup has started yesterday with a not so impressive win of Argentina vs Tunisia and an even less impressive performance of the hosts Germany vs Australia. I forecast a Brazil vs Argentina final, what are your thoughts on that and how useful do you think this tournament is ?
June 28, 2005 at 3:24amI agree with you Rigel and reckon we're in for a treat in the final... great opportunity for Brazil to show off as reigning champions and contenders for the next World CupJune 27, 2005 at 2:32pmWell, looks like you Brazil vs Argentina rooters got your wish. I see Brazil winning it, as they definitely looked the classier side in the semis. Defensively though, they need ...

I know alot of us like to talk about US bands, but I was thinking that there is a lot of good music outside the country. Personally I've recently been listening to Afro-Asiatic rock and major bands from Europe like Rammstein and Eisbrecher. What non local rock are you guys into?
June 16, 2005 at 9:01amdon't know too many...but i think junoon is a pretty good rock band.

Go Back to Sleep Go back to sleep. Yes, you are allowed. You have no Love in your heart, go back to sleep. His Love and his sorrow are exclusive to us, you go back to sleep. I have been burnt by the fire of the sorrow of Love. You have no such yearning in your heart, go back to sleep. The path of Love, has seventy-two folds and countless facets. Your love and religion is all about deceit and hypocrisy, go back to sleep. We put ourselves in Love's hands, and will wait for her bidding, s... Read More
