This is a Question that has been taking over my mind... I am Bengali....from Bangladesh, and I really like someone from Pakistan, he is Punjab. What tuned me into these guys was actually meeting them before knowing their music. I got to hang out with these guys back in 2000-2001. They took me to their store Yoshi Toshi in DC and I was able to hear some of their mixing, and what tuned me into their music was their attitudes. Ali and Sharam are unbelievable - great hosts and full of life. You can hear it through their music. Great guys, great music and great vibes - can't ask for anything more.

BilalX was the MAIN dude on #islam in the early to mid 90's and was also a very, very dear friend of mine. I lost touch with him but always wondered how he and his wife were doing. He met his wife on #islam. Her nick was "Eleha". Man I feel like I'm the only one here from way back then...anyways...anyone know? If anyone sees him tell him that his half Iraqi "coz" misses him.
