  • I saw this crazy article in the paper the other day about a Halal Burger King in France called "Beuger King Muslim" (that is not misspelled). I thought it was pretty funny. Considerate, but I dont see why they need to have a separate Burger King for Muslims. Why not just have all Halal food for everyone? It doesnt taste any differently.

  • There is hardly a leader in the third world who is capable of standing up to external adverturists. The reason being, 1) leaders of the third world are dictators (Musharaf, Mubarak, Saudi Kings etc.), or 2) the leaders are pussy cats (Musharaf, Mubarak, Saudi Kings etc.). Chavez is an anamoly on the world stage. He is not only democratically elected, but wants to take on the leading powers in an ever-shifting geo-strategic and economic balance. I would need a very beginers class and I'd prefer to learn classical for writing and especially for reading classical texts. I have tried to get into the arabic at CAL, but the classes continually conflict with my required grad ones and i do not need to credits to graduate anyway. I also looked into craig's list and will conta... Read More
