Seriously - c. diff really sucks. I mean I have a patient who came in for drainage of a perianal abscess. So we I and D the guy, start him on antibiotics, and watch. Standard protocol, right? Then next thing you know there's a c. diff outbreak in the ward and patients are crapping like there's no tomorrow. Ahh....the sweet smell of flatulence can not be denied indeed. Poor nurses. Wow, T. Jones had a pro-bowler game today. 139 yards and 2 touchdowns on only 20 carries... K. Orton finished with 150 yards and 2 touchdowns on 14/21 passing. Crushed the Lions 38-6 on an all-round decent performance by the Bears. Awesome!
