  • Road trips have the magic of transforming spirits. Personal experience attests to that. In the long journey, there are points that stand out. Points when you are confronted by the depth of simple interactions with others you meet. Points that become fixed in memory for the inspired significance you will draw every time they are recalled. And so while watching ?Motorcycle Diaries?, tracing the cross-continental trip Che Guevara took with his friend, I was always seeking to identify those certain point... Read More

  • Love has several different meanings in English, from something that gives a little pleasure ("I loved that meal") to something one would die for (patriotism, pairbonding). It can describe an intense feeling of affection, an emotion or an emotional state. In ordinary use, it usually refers to interpersonal love. Probably due to its psychological relevance, love is one of the most common themes in art. Just as there are many types of lovers, there are many kinds of love. Love is inherent in all human cultures. ... Read More

  • It just irks me when Palestinians spend much of their time TALKING rather than taking any action. They expect other people to do their dirty work when all they do is sit behind a monitor, complain and whine about how F***** up the occupation is, try and act all revolutionary when they are the last ones to be, or try to pick up as many men/women they possibly can since they are incapable of doing so in the real world, but rather on programs like naseeb. • The Concept of Equality between Men and Women in Islam The concept of equality between men and women has frequently been used by modern intellectuals and worldwide media to vilify Islam. The common contention is that the woman is somehow lesser than the man, and that Islam is a religion for men. However, when one compares the doctrines of Christianity and Judaism, it becomes clear that no religion has elevated the status of women as much as Islam. The Almighty declares in the Holy Quran: "Verily the ... Read More
