Before I proceed with my question, I would like to lay down these facts: 1- Customers have the right to freely choose to buy or boycott any products. 2- People have the right to express their opinions and feelings the way they want as long as they don't commit violent actions and don't lie. 3- Politicians, religious figures, historic figures, proph... • Has anyone seen "The War Within"? It came out in October 2005, but played in a net total of ZERO theaters in Los Angeles of all places!! Apparently they screened it in Pasadena for like a day, which I didn't know about. Anyways, it's supposed to be out on DVD around now. It's somewhat similar to "Paradise Now," but instead about a South Asian Muslim who becomes radicalized and comes to NYC to enact his revenge. I think it's likely more Hollywoodish than Paradise Now, which actually had a more authentic independ... Read More

  • HADITH OF THE DAY: LOVE THE POOR The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "O God, grant me life as a poor man, cause me to die as a poor man and resurrect me in the company of the poor." His wife asked him why he said that, and he replied: "Because (the poor) will enter Paradise (before) the rich. Do not turn away a poor man& even if all you can give is half a date. If you love the poor and bring them near you& God will bring you near Him on the Day of Resurrection." Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 1376
