A stupid Shia in the Mut'ah Village claimed that Sistani had a position of pride on the Danish cartoons against our Prophet -peace be upon him. He further claimed that us, Sunnis, only followed the Shia's reaction, as if the Shia love the Prophet more than us or as if what the Shia did surpassed what Sunnis after the cartoons. I have some observations here: Iranian Shia were almost the LAST "Muslim" people to demonstrate against the cartoons, and had it not been for the incident coinciding with their 'Ashura'... Read More

How do you know you are in love? Is there some sort of sign that your brain gives you:"hey stupid, your in love"? Is there a time line? If you have known a person for x amount of time, and feel very close to that person, is that love? or is that just because you have become comfortable with him/her? I know this subject has probably been brought up in other journals.. but still, lets humor each other

Salaams All, Has anyone been keeping up with Men's and Women's hockey? What do you think of the games so far?
February 19, 2006 at 10:18pmHmm. I tend to rout for the "underdog" team. The team which is not the talk of pre-Olympic days. As most of us have witnessed, anything can happen/is possible.February 19, 2006 at 7:19pmI've been watching most of the men's hockey games. So far Finland looks pretty good. Only allowed 2 goals in 4 games. Unfortunatley team Canada isn't doing as well as expecte...

Over the past few days, the Bird Fly virus (H5N1 strain) has rapidly spread across Europe and was today discovered in India too. Also, virus strains resistant to Roche's Tamiflu drug have also been found, further compounding the situation. BioCryst (a spinoff from my school) has been granted a fast track review by the US FDA for its new drug Peramivir, so maybe theres some hope left for the world.... Since it has been detected in India, its only a matter of time before its found in Pakistan !!! ... Read More

After numerous rounds of "We don't know if Osama is still alive", Osama himself decided to send George Bush a letter in his own handwriting to let him know he was still in the game. Bush opened the letter, and it appeared to contain a single line of coded message: 370HSSV-0773H Bush was baffled, so he E-mailed it to Condi Rice. Condi and her aides had no clue either, so they sent it to the FBI. No one could solve it at the FBI so it went to the CIA, then to the NSA. With no clue as to its meaning they event... Read More

Yes you heard it. Salman Khan has been accused of hunting for endangered animals when he was shooting for the movie "hum saath saath hai." I think it's unfair because he wasn't the only one that was caught doing that. I remember reading that Karisma Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre were all part of this hunting trip. I have the link below check it out urself. I think they are unfairly targeting him because they don't want to deal with him and his drama anymore. He has been in courts for a lot of re... Read More
