Bismillah-- Well I guess I'll get things started... welcome to the village! InshaAllah we will have good discussions here. I started the village because there are too many people who don't put salaat as a priority in their lives. It prompted me to write a journal about it, but I want to do more... hey guys.. i've been living in kuwait for awhile now, and i gotta tell you about one of their BEST inventions... LONGLIFE MILK!!! i'm sure they don't have this in the states cuz i never saw it... does anybody have it anywhere else? they process and package the milk in such a way that it can be stored *unrefrigerated* for like 3 years or something... awesome!! i have my 3 month supply of milk sitting in my kitchen... i just put what i need for the next day in the fridge, and voila-- cold, delicious... Salam alikom all, I was wondering for those of you who remember their start in the stock market, what was the amount of money you allocated for this? I dont have a $5K to play with. Maybe i'm thinking of a $1000, but then i'm not sure how much return will come from such low allocation. If I keep saying i dont have money to start this, i dont think i'll ever start. I have recently started watching the Star Trek Enterprise from the start, and while watching it, I have realized that even though the acting was not at par with what the viewers had gotten used to, like in TNG or for that matter the original Trek, I really do understand as to why the acting fit like a glove specifically in Enterprise.
