  • The Third Crusade (1189-1192) The Third Crusade began in 1189 as an attempt to reconquer the Holy Land from Saladin. A few years earlier Saladin had just gained control of Syria and thus brought it under his reign along with Egypt. Control of both Egypt and Syria allowed Saladin to surround the Crusader kingdom; on July 4, 1187, Saladin won the Battle of Hattin, and on October 2 Jerusalem surrendered. Christian power was now restricted to Antioch, Tripoli, Tyre, and Margat. The battle took place near T... Read More

  • I have noticed that I am almost always harrassed by the Desi Female Clubbers when filling up my Gas at a Gas Station (next to the Desi Club). I try to avoid interaction by pretending I dont speak English while filling up gas (even during the 100+ degree heat of the summer!). But still, those haramis manage to squeeze in and ask, "Hey Hot Hyderabadi Stud, Are you from Old City?" . Aaarrgh, I have actually had my driver's side window knocked on by the ABCD Female Clu... Furthermore, I was wondering how people who have both their own online space and use naseeb maintain both online blogs and their naseeb journals, i.e. do they copy posts from one to ... Read More

  • After the fiasco at St Joes, the media hyped it up quite a bit and the question came if Cheney should go. I think Cheney should go, but not because of the goon debacle, but simply, the owls have struggled the last few years, we were in elite eight just a few years back and were a force to be reckoned with, and now no NCAA appearance. he is 73, cant coach for too long, He can be in the atheletics dept in some role but no longer as the headcoach for bball. My bet is that next season is his last, he will... Read More
