Since I have had to delete 30 messages on this issue thought I would get a request in. I am looking for 4 to 6 good JDE consultants (2 mfg, 1 dist 1 fin. etc) I continue to see that people are leaving and wondering if these are people that were on a transition package. If there is any one out there that knows good JDE consultants needing a job have them contact me. I have a very good company for them to work for. Good enough that if I get 13 weeks I would go.

Salamz, It's just us three in here, but what type of vehicles do you guys run? Personally, I have nitro planes, electric planes, electric cars (4WD touring car and 2WD stadium truck), nitro truck, 30-sized and micro electric helicopters, electric airboats, and some vehicles that don't really fit into a single category. Alhamdulillah, my work involves designing, building, and flight testing small R/C airplanes. So I end up getting quite a bit of stick time for the small electric airplanes, but sometime... Read More

Salamz, For the private pilots, have you ever had a landing where you were forced to use a forward slip to make it down safely? I was out today practicing full-rudder forward slips to landing. Alhamdulillah, all the landings went quite well, but nothing today even came close to the shenanigans on my previous flight. The airport here in Gainesville was quite busy with traffic flying south to Lakeland for Sun-N-Fun, so the pattern was unusually crowded. I had come from an uncontrolled field into Gainesvil... May 20, 2005 at 11:37amIsn't that fun, the controlled sinking feeling is awasome. Better than flying 500FPM decent. I have done it quiet a few times, I fly from Palwaukee airport, one of the busiest...

An extremely general idea emerges:this is its dissimilarity with the Biblical narration. This idea contradicts the parallels which are often, and wrongly, drawn by western authors to underline solely the resemblances b/w the two texts. To stress only the similarities whilst silently ignoring the obvoius dissimilarities is to distort reality. There is perhaps,a reason, for this. When talking of the creation,as of other subjects, there is a strong tendency in the west to claim that Muhammad(SAW) only pied the general ou... Read More

Below is a link to a lecture by Dawud Adib. MashaAllah he is a very good speaker, and the topic is great, especially for converts, but for anyone to listen to. It's about stories of strangers in the Quran and discusses some of Surat Al Kahf. If anyone listens to it, please post your thoughts and comments on it!
April 30, 2005 at 3:44pmOne of my favorite speakers is Muhammad Al-Shareef. MashaAllah he is very motivational, but his ways of expression (osloob) are very nice and gentle, not rough or scolding. Als...

I know I am completely outing myself as a dork. But I would really like some consensus on this one. Alot of people consider Scifi a sort of pulp class of fiction. In reality there are many great authors in this field who produce some very thoughtful and intuitive works. Please weigh in on this.
May 6, 2005 at 1:57pmWell, literary fiction is a genre in its own right - it's doesn't just mean mainstream. Literary fiction is generaly concerned with communicating a message - over and above the ...
April 28, 2005 at 10:01pmWell there is Kurt Vonnegut, but for some reason he just doesn't feel like scifi, more like a surrealistic trip through space and time. There is HG Wells (Time Machine, War o...

May 2, 2005 at 1:53pmLovely article, but you seemed to omit the fact that the Salaah -e- Janazah of the Prophet (S) was said by his family, the Ahl-al-Bait and the larger Hashemite clan, while the c...

I don't generally eat things like this (i.e. cooked) but might have to make it for Mother's Day! I would not toast the almonds, though, and use a sprinkle of stevia instead of powdered sugar. Probably also make the almond mylk myself. This is a super easy process: you soak 1 part almonds for 12-48 hours, drain, rinse, combine with 4 parts water in a blender. If you have a super high speed blender, you're done. If not, squeeze the mixture through a mesh bag or something similar. The resulting liquid will b... Read More

Salaams all, A group of students at my law school's asylum clinic have recently launched a new program called the Refugee Reunification Project, which is designed to help political asylees in the US bring over their immediate family members (spouses and children) from their home countries. Basically, the aim of the RRProject is to create a fund for plane tickets to the US for asylees' families - as you know, ticket prices can be enormously expensive, especially for a family of 15 from South America or Africa....
