Don't go far off, not even for a day, because -- because -- I don't know how to say it: a day is long and I will be waiting for you, as in an empty station when the trains are parked off somewhere else, asleep. Don't leave me, even for an hour, because then the little drops of anguish will all run together, the smoke that roams looking for a home will drift into me, choking my lost heart. Oh, may your silhouette never dissolve on the beach; may your eyelids never flutter into the empty dist... Read More

I can't encapsulate the totality of quantum mechanics in one page, not even in one book. It's a humble attempt to motivate people to start talking about quantum mechanics. Nex time, I will give a brief introduction of Einstein's Relativity. Again, for the same cause. (With 81 members, this room is so dead.) Let's get back to quantum. When a ball is thrown in the air, it's position as well as velocity at any later time can be known by simple application of newton's laws. Even before the ball is thrown ... Read More
September 29, 2005 at 3:00pmI think two of the problems with quantum mechanics are: 1. The transition from casual laws to probability laws. 2. The interpretation of unobserved objects.

The latest buzz in the industry is that Saif Ali Khan is catching up to Shahrukh Khan when it comes to banking abroad in movie sales. Saif past three movies Salaame Namasta, Parineeta and Hum Tum all had profits of over 1 million dollars. Outside of SRK no star was able to bring in that much and now Saif is proving he's a bankable star. As we all remember SRK was the top hero for the Yash Raj Films (that produces movies such as DDLJ, Dil to Pagal Hai, Veer Zaara), but after Hum Tum and Salaame Namaste Saif A... Read More

I can't believe Paheli got nominated to represent the indian film at the Oscars. I mean I love SRK but there is no way that it actually beat out Parineeta and Swades. I mean Paheli was the most bizarre movie i have seen this year. I don't know some people are all into the folk tale stuff. Anyways if Paheli wins SRK will get to recieve the award because he's the producer and he claims since he's all ready in NYC shooting for karan Johar "kabhi alvida something something something" he's going to promote the mo... I came upon this during my daily poetry fix; wisdom for the ages. Which mask do you wear? Winter Encounter Who does not hope for a perdurable heart or hone the cold edge of his spirit? With eyes barely opened, we see the world's hatred, tottering into the world, we fall on our faces, hoping for love, we find the world slack in its loving, touching with tentative hands, we wince under our wounds: knowing these things, who would not look to his weaponry, temper himself for survival, or live like a k...
