• Which beginning sequence for the Star Trek series you like. The song (Faith of the heart) that played for "Enterprise" or Jean Luc saying those famous "... where no one has gone before" for TNG or the beautiful shot of DS9, or voyager's trek through space. Personally I like the Enterprise song and the collage of the journey to the first warp flight.

hmm...I'm going to go with "Enterprise" the montage works for me and with the 80s style pop-rockness of faith of the heart - how can you go wrong :)

  • The village pic, illustrates the wonderful cover of strait is the gate written by Andr? Gide. a book of a short tale of Jerome, a young boy who writes for us his love story with his cousin Alissa. From a child age to adulthood, he desribes the moments they lived, close and afar. At such an early age, their minds are encompassed wi... Read More

  • "Some primordial spiritual connection must have been at work. For only recently have Muslim scholars learnt that Hindus indeed constitute the fourth major group of Ahl-e-Kitab mentioned in the Holy Koran repeatedly. For some mysterious reason, the Holy Koran had left this question vague. It mentioned a major religious group as "Sabe-een" as the ummah (community) of a prophet who had brought a divine book bearing God's revelation to the world. It also mentioned Hazrat Nooh (Prophet Noah of the Bible) as a major p... Read More

Its pure speculation. They are not Ahl al-Kit?baccording to any school of fiqh. They may qualify for thimmah according to some schools of fiqh...

  • Taken from reference.allrefer.com "Mughal rule under Jahangir (1605-27) and Shah Jahan (1628-58) was noted for political stability, brisk economic activity, beautiful paintings, and monumental buildings. Jahangir married the Persian princess whom he renamed Nur Jahan (Light of the World), who emerged as the most powerful individual in the court besides the emperor. As a result, Persian poets, artists, scholars, and officers--including her own family members--lur... Read More

  • "Self-confidence is an attitude which allows individuals to have positive yet realistic views of themselves and their situations. Self-confident people trust their own abilities, have a general sense of control in their lives, and believe that, within reason, they will be able to do what they wish, plan, and expect. Having self-confidence does not mean that individuals will be able to do everything. Self-confident people have expectations that are realistic. Even when some of their expectations are not met, ... • From ancient mythology to modern advertising, the face of a beautiful woman has been regarded as a powerful motivator of men?s behavior. Now a group of researchers based at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) has shown that, while heterosexual men recognize attractiveness in both female and male faces, they will expend effort to increase their viewing of attractive female faces only. The research also shows that areas of the brain previously identified as responding to such rewards as food, drugs and money also... Read More

  • What a bunch of ignoramuses gathered together to celebrate the virtues of being a sunni pagan... Furthermore, Ismaili Islam has preserved the tradition of reinterpretting Islamic law according to times- which was the Prophet's mission- to create new out ... Read More
