  • Whatever of Good You Send Forth And perform As-Sal?t (Iq?mat-as-Sal?t), and give Zak?t, and whatever of good (deeds that All?h loves) you send forth for yourselves before you, you shall find it with All?h. Certainly, All?h is All-Seer of what you do. (Al-Baqarah 2:110)

  • Whose seen it and what do ya think?

    January 29, 2006 at 4:20am
An acquired taste type of flick - but a must see for any true film fan. Found it visually engaging, unusual, and disorienting. But certainly not a "repeat movie" for me.

  • When we are attracted to someone, initially its either cos of looks, the persona, intelligence or wit, we never encompass the entire package. Its only later, when we spend time with the person dat we realize, all that glitters is not gold. The closer we get, the more noticeable and obvious the differences become. At times, its difficult to tide over these disparities. Why does this happen in a relationship? Has it jst happened to me? Or have you all been a witness to something similar too?

    January 12, 2007 at 3:10pm
this does happen in a relationship. It is happening to me right now so to speak. the reason that this happens is that during the first few months of a relationship...it is the s...

  • Ok, one of my gora friends is exceptional in the way, she washes in the tub AND uses soap. She was kinda sad that I didnt use soap on my butt. I think thats too difficult, I mean. I'm happy with just the water. Ofcourse I wash my HANDS with soap, but getting in the tub and soaping my butt? Kinda difficult I say. Plus, I dont have a shower where I can sit down, wash and use soap there. I'd have to take a complete shower in order to do that. Maybe I could turn this into Naseeb Advice section saying that we've bee... Read More

  • Any of you seen Wicked? I saw it at the Gershwin theatre last night. It was SO good! I've been wanting to see it for the past 2 years & I missed the tour in my state so my friend & I got tickets for NY. It was nearly impossible to find tickets too; the show sells out so quickly...and we were looking in November. Anyhow, if you haven't heard of it, it's a Broadway musical on Gregory Maguire's book, Wicked: The Life & Times of the Wicked Witch of the West. Even if you haven't read the book, you'd stil... • :) My favourite quotes were: "I'm looking for love. Real love. Ridiculous, inconvenient, consuming, can't-live-without-each-other love. And I don't think that love is here in this expensive suite in this lovely hotel in Paris. There are those that open you up to something new and exotic, those that are old and familiar, those that bring up lots of questions,... Read More

  • Being a celtics fan, I am a little annoyed by this trade. They traded a younger, more active, and better defender in davis to an older, injury prone, and not-much-better-on-offense player in Szczerbiak. yes the celts got rid of a big contract in blount, and are now able to develop Al Jefferson and Kedrick perkins. But they got rid of a player who will for sure become a force in the NBA. thoughts??
