Have you read IRshad Manji's book: "The trouble with Islam Today"? I didn't expect much from it at first. However as I started reading it, I realised how logical and true her ideas are. I would say I agree with over 90% of her ideas and reflections. I find it took a lot of courage from Manji to write that book. I think it is important not to give up on our faith, religion and culture and just to make it clear to the world that Islam is a peaceful, respectful and open religion.

Theres a restaurant in Mile End that I went to this week. Its called Halilano, formerly know as Ankerboot. I have been there before when it was called Ankerboot and the food and the service were excellent. It was my collegues leaving do on Monday so we all went along. Firstly the floor downstairs was really dirty so we went to sit upstairs. Half the items we wanted to order were not available, the juice machine was broken so there were no fresh juices. Finally got a tape of that fight and what a fight it was!!! It truly was one for the ages. That 10th round was one for the archives. I know there's controversy surrounding the long count Corrales got by spitting out his mouthpiece but it shouldn't overshadow a great performance by both fighters. Can't wait for Winky-Trinidad this weekend :)

i found the following formula to work really well. -drink 2 L of water thru out the day -take multivitamin-minerals -fish oils (liquid best) -vitamin C -eat lots of dark green and colourful vegetables as well fruits i.e berries(all sorts of berries) -drink few cups of green tea a day
