  • Salam everyone... I just wanted to update you guys on something a close friend of mine has started. My friend is a travel agent who sells umrah/hajj packages to the Saudyya. The way this works is, if you know Muslims that are intrested in going to umrah/hajj you show them the package deals. If they end up buying a package you will make a 5% commission off of that package. Lets say for example the package costs $1500. If you sell 5 packages in a week, you would be making $375/week. If you talk to an Imam and g... Read More

  • Rozaiba of the LMP accepted RL's nomination for the post of the leader of the house. Later the RRP seconded the nomination. Rozaiba then accepted the nomination and voted for himself. Thus we have 3 votes so far. Please feel free to vote for Rozaiba who is contesting elections on the ticket of modernity, rationality, less government and more freedom.

  • 'A cry in the night' is one of Mary Higgings Clark's bestsellers. Ive never in my life found such an intriguing artwork. Only such an amazg author like her can keep the suspense till the end of the book. Its is a mixture of romance, electrifying tension, fear, ignorance, helplessness and many others. The author sweeps the reader into the book from the very first page. A book like no other... Dont miss it

  • Since I'm not a paying member, Naseeb wouldn't allow me to read any of the postings in that journal, much to my dismay. I suffer from EXTREMELY oily eyelids...to such a severe degree that it is disgusting. The oil from my eyelids practically starts DRIPPING into my eyes towards the end of the day, and since I wear contact lenses, thats not good at all. Also, I have trouble making my eyeshadow and eyeliner stay put. Any type of eyeshadow except for the powdery kind just kind of "melts" off, and so does my eyeline... Read More

  • I recently heard about this group trying to control the flow of illegal immigrants. The founder is from Orange County. Recently, he spoke at a meeting in Garden Grove, OC, CA. Lots of people I know went there to protest. They say he is a racist. The protest got violent and generated a lot of news. Does any one know about them? Any comments? • Since my last semester in 2004 at College I've been diligently (I do mean diligently) trying to start a non-for-profit corporation. I was inspired by the ideas 1) "just do it" and 2) "Be the change you wish to see in the world" In any case College taught me that sometimes you just have to do things in order for them to get done..heck that makes sense to me! So I started to work on it www.orgsites.com Now the dilemna my associates and I have struggled significantly with are the barrie... Read More

  • When it comes to relationship experience, I"m at ground zero. I have none, zilch, zero, nada. Now I know that Islamically, its almost a non issue because there is no such thing as having a relationship with a non-mehram before marriage. But nontheless, many muslims these days still date, get to know someone of the opposite gender, before marriage, so I guess this question is more directed to y'all. Everone is welcome to answer though :) So, my question is: Do you really think that you will be better at making... Read More

  • Anybody out there with a Sharp Aquos LCD TV? I am looking at the 26" with HD tuner built in, since this will be a secondary unit and I don't want to rent a second HD cable box. But then I see the new 23" Samsung at $400 cheaper, but damn that's small, and no tuner. By the way, the new LG LCDs are the jonx, but LG doesn't allow internet orders from the authorized dealers. So its $$$$$.
