  • Now that i have your attention. Can someone please tell me what is up with so many girls checking each other out on naseeb?? Is it just me? The only time i have checked out another chick's profile is cuz she checked me out and i have even stopped that. Just wondering what the fascination was.

  • Ok so since it's inception in the old shower/locker room of Cole, I've been a bit perturbed by that and the way it is being kept up (or not rather). If that's where the Musallah is going to remain for following years, i think it should be a lot better looking and cleaner. I know that our time has passed and the new kids should pick up where we left off, but even when we were studying, not many of us would have time for such a thing. The place needs a serious ambush makeover...any suggestions?

  • wow i love yogurt. can we talk about yogurt in this village? i think we should talk about milk products of all kinds. so yogurt... ya its great. too bad most yogurt in the states is not halal (they use gelatin in it, which is made from pork skin. ick.) :- there is one brand of yogurt that is organic, its called Nancy's. I love it. Nancy's only makes plain yogurt, but thats ok, cuz i love that sour taste. plain yogurt is more sour than sour cream, and it makes a great substitute! also, yogurt is much heal... • where do you draw the line on how much "milk fat" milk can contain? when i lived on campus at university, i lived in a house called a co-op with like 50 other gals. one day, some of us were talking about milk, deciding which kind we should buy for the house (fat free, 1%, 2% or what) and one health-conscious gal was wondering exactly how much fat is in "whole milk" cuz she wanted to know the difference between whole milk and 2%.... and another gal answered her.... 100%!!! lol... we told her no, u id... • i read this article from the toronto star, written by a university student who visited the states, and how she got weird questions from americans, and how people thought some of the things she said were weird. one thing i noticed is that she said when she asked people, "where's the homo milk".... they just looked at her kinda confused and shocked... so she learned quickly not to call it homo milk. cuz us dumb americans, of course, are just like 'uh... i didnt know there were gay cows...." wow. :( b... • There?s a man, there?s a woman ? they find themselves drawn to one another, the conversation flows, there is laughter and joy. We all know what happens next ? we?ve read it in books, seen in it movies, heard it in a million love songs ? they get lost in each other?s gaze, their hearts flutter and true romance blossoms. But in the real world, men and women are meeting all the time ? at work, study and play ? and romance is the last thing on anyone?s mind. Every time you are introduced to a male colleague or your ... • if you're a kid, you automatically love milk. that's how i think it should be, anyway. in that other je i said how the idea to make carbonated milk is to encourage kids to drink more milk.... but who needs to encourage kids to drink milk?!?! kids have milk with pbj sandwiches, cookies, from the sippy cup... with anything or with nothing! my friend has a son who is 3 years old, and that kid must go through at least 2 or 3 gallons of milk a week. all the time, every half hour or so he is constantly like, ... • i thought this book was incredible--real life presented in unadorned and unromantic prose. the suffering and hardships geisha women endured reminded me a lot of the book umrajo jan ada, the courtesan of lucknow. similar realities of girls being sold into slavery. one set in pakistan, the other in japan. but the harsh reality is the same in both. what did you guys think?

  • Dear villagers, "Better tomorrow" is an optimistic village title about the future of humanity. How optimistic can we be? Or how realistic should we be? We all live in the illusion that the "Big I" of humanity, i.e. trying to conquer and control the earth and nature would make us invincible. Well, our bright and big cities make us ignore how insignificant we are in the middle of the universe, how small our earth is, how limited our ressources are, and how fragile and dependant our lives are. "Better tomorrow"?... Read More

  • i did health outreach for underserved communities pro bonno with AAAN and SWYC, most of the work i did was with immigrants and the vast majority of that was with catholics from spain.
