  • What did you guys think of this year Paki Day? In my opinion, last years was much better, it was more organized, food was also better last year, there were more booths, better skits and better performances by everyone. I even got a back stage pass to see Junoon but after their disappointing performance, I decided not to go see them.

  • I truly believe that Liverpool has a chance in winning the EPL this year. The Rafa-lution has already started in Istanbul 2005 and now it's time to bring the EPL trophy back to Anfield! Any thoughts? "You'll never walk alone"

  • I just completed a fascinating novel set in historical Istanbul (circa 1500 AD). The book is "My name is Red" by Orphan Pamuk. Encompases art, religion, history, romance, clash of civilizations and is beautifully written (and translated). Recommended to anyone interested in the history of Muslims around the world.

  • Out of the 6 Championshp runs in the 1990's, which Bulls team was the best??? I would go with the 1991-92 Bulls team, MJ was money, Pip was off the hook, and lets not forget the supporting cast. I know many will say the 1995-96 team, but from 1991-1993 MJ was in his prime, he could fly, shoot, and play D, he was $$$

There is a call for Muslim artist to submit their work to be displayed at Muslim at Muslimfest. Music and art from the Islamic world is shared with the community at large. • gypsybar.com Used to be called Pravda, gypsy bar attracts the "international" wanna be crowd, but you won't find many iternational people there. It has a bar at the front and a small/decent size of dance floor at the back, I believe called the "Red Room". As the name signifies the red room is red with 2 bars. Drinks are expensive, if you are a bar type person, just like any other clubs in Boston downtown, a long island ice tea or kamikaze runs for about $10 and obviously you have to leave a dollar or two ... • When chatting to someone on the net, with the intention of possibly finding a partner, do you chat to many people at a time or only one person at any one time and once you click with someone, have exchanged loads of emails and phone calls and think you like them, do you still keep chatting to others in order to see what will happen with them, or limit your attention to the one person Would be interesting to see what guys and girls think of this (I have a theory about this)

  • "Divine inspiration originates in a realm beyond time and space. Revelation is not the prisoner of nature or civilization. however, what could religious knowledge , obviously the child of human comprehension, be if not temporal?" Abdolkarim Soroush, Islamic Revival and Reform I dont think the aformentioned quote of Soroush is at all radical. To my knowledge almost any Islamic scholar, past or present would agree. Revelation arises from a realm beyond the human intellect and human constraints. Revelation... Read More
