  • You guys are going to think all i do during Ramadan is wastch animation! Vampire hunter D is suprisingly enough a vampire hunter who is half human and half vampire and how he rids a village of a creepy vampire that is causing problems. Its very 80's but thats to be expected as it was made in 1985. Its interesting to watch, some of the characters are very cheesy and make me cringe. I wouldnt bother to watch it again.

  • Salam to all, I think it will be a good idea if in this month of Ramadhan if all Muslims try to learn and understand the various prayers and supplications as well as special Salat that various Muslim group perform. In this exercise, I am giving below the full text of Dua-e-Iftetaah (the Paryer of opening). This prayer is recited in every Shia mosque after the Isha prayers everyday in Ramadhan. As you can see, it is an excellent Dua. It begins with Allah's praise, His majesty, His power and His Beauty. ... Read More

  • Salamz, I have a question about women's rights concerning divorce so anyone that can help me I'd really appreciate it. The last part of 2:228 says "And women shall have rights similar to the rights against them, according to what is equitable; but men have a degree (of advantage) over them. And Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise." I was told that men "have a degree" or advantage over women in that men can initiate divorce whereas a woman must get a judge's approval to initiate a divorce. One commentar... Read More

  • I know, wrong forum. But HDF (Human Development Foundation) is collecting donations for the quake also. They're not necessarily a disaster relief organization, but they have an Earthquake Fund, and I'm sure relief will be a big part of it. But they do things to rebuild a community -- setting up businesses, microloans, building schools, health clinics -- what our brothers and sisters need in the areas hit. It's ongoing charity. You can also donate online thru a credit card. Link below: www.yespakistan.... Read More

Association for the Development of Pakistan (ADP) has set up a website for Earthquake Relief at DevelopPakistan.org where we are collecting online donations for Edhi Foundation and the President's Earthquake Relief Fun... We should share this wealth with our brothers and sisters in the time of need. The wealth does not have to be monetary, It can be your clothing that your not using, or anything that you feel will help them in this dire sitauation. I encourage, and call out all of our brothers, and sisters from all faiths to get together and help these people.
