"If your Lord had so willed, He would certainly have made mankind one single community. But that is not what He wants. So will continue to hold divergent views and that very freedom of choice and action is the whole purpose of their creation." The Holy Quran, 11:118-119

Ali un-Waliullah in Kalima and Azaan Introduction In this article we will seek to address one of the most common objection raised by Nasibi against the Shi?a, namely their recital of Aliyun Waliyullah in the Kalima and Adhan. Nasibi stoke up all manner of hatred in their papers and speeches by appealing to the ignorant masses to ask themselves ?How can the Shi?a be Muslim when they have amended the Kalima and Adhan?. What these Mullah?s don?t tell their adherents is that similar forms of Kalima recital can ac... Read More

Can you guys tell me about your experience with the ADAMS Center? It looks really nice.. Is it a very diverse community? I went to the website and they had a link to some matrimonial events.. Any information about that? I mean, have any of you actually tried that? I'm living in the Philadelphia area now, but my family is all down here, so I come down quite a bit, especially around the holidays when I'm off school. I may even move back down in the not so far off future. It would also be great to meet peop... Read More

Does anyone know where I can find a good Turkish grocer in the NOVA area? I come back down to VA occasionally to visit the family. I'm also looking for a good Turkish, Greek or Middle Eastern pastry shop. I heard there was a really nice Persian bakery out somewhere near Fairfax, but after hearing about it initially, I couldn't find anything about it. :( Also any really good Turkish or Middle Eastern restaurants around Sterling/Ashburn area. Any suggestions are appreciated!

Folks, Hope every one had a great Thanksgiving holiday. I had a blast riding ATVs on sand dunes out side Palm Springs. If you have not done it, I must say its quite a spiritual experience. If any one is interested, Im planning on going back next month. Morengo Casino and Cabazon are next door where I go in the desert. It would be a day trip. Location: Past Cabazon, before Palm Springs Cost: $35 for a half hour ride, the owner usually lets us run for 45-50 min

Hey Y'all Are any of you familiar with EAS's Thermodynamix, their fat-burning supplement? Well, I went to vitamin shop to get a fat-burner and they had it on clearance so I bought it (and because I though I wouldn't be going wrong with a company like EAS) But when I get home, I look at the ingredients ...and it's chock full of cayenne pepper!!! That stuff has a scoville rating of frikkin 35,000 units!!! While I see why they would use it as a thermogenic ingredient since it would understandably cause your body... Read More
