Salaamun Alaikum the aphids I saw earlier have developed into outright colonies. They're in love with my tomato plants, and I want them GONE! So far, no ill effects on the plants, but I've read they can spread viruses to plants, killing them. Neem oil? Where can I buy it? Is it at regular gardening stores, or do I need to go online?

Allah's Apostle said, "Satan comes to one of you and says, 'Who created so-and-so? 'till he says, 'Who has created your Lord?' So, when he inspires such a question, one should seek refuge with Allah and give up such thoughts." (Bukhari)

I saw this movie during Sunday's sneak preview. I'm hoping more folks will check it out once its released officially this Friday (6/3). Putting aside my love of all things Crowe - I found it to be a great movie. Renee Z fit her part well - and the relationship between Crowe's Braddock and his manager (played by the excellent Paul Giamatti) is really touching. This is not just another boxing movie - although those fighting scenes had me anxious, rather brutal at times. It is 'mainstream' of course, so direc... Read More

May 27, 2005 With Us or Against Us" It Really is a Crusade By GARY LEUPP Days after the 9-11 attacks, George W. Bush informed Americans, "This crusade, this war on terrorism, is going to take awhile." As a Yale history major, he ought to have known what the medieval Crusades were all about: Christians against Muslims, mostly for control of Palestine, fought with all the viciousness and duplicity reflected in the recent film "The Kingdom of Heaven." The explosive term was guaranteed to incite Muslim ire a... Read More

What type of asian clothing do you like? I love saris but they have to be very soft and quite thin - not into these really heavy types. Trouser suits look nice as long as they are fitted. Lehengas look nice - especially those with sleeveless tops but never had an opportunity to get one as mum would probably kill me if she saw me in one! For guys, sherwanis look good, especially if the guy is tall. Do you have any preferences?

I have a friend (US citizen) who would like to marry a boy from Denmark. She was wondering what the quickest way was to get him a green card? I did some research and found that it masy be quicker to apply thru the US Consulate in Denmark. But I also ready about a Fiance visa where she could get him over here on that and then they would have 90 days to get married and then apply for his green card while he is in the US. Supposedly this way he is in the US while his application is being processed and usually he wi... Read More
