  • Lately I have noticed quite a few girls specifically mentioning that guys who email them be either permanent residents or US citizens, else they wont reply (some have retracted these statements ). What gives? What kind of discrimination is this? Does being a citizen imply a superior being or a better mate? I know there are some guys out there intending to marry just for the sake of permanent residency, but not all guys are like that.

Irfani - you are right, but once again you cant generalise too much. As I said, it depends from person to person - there are various other ways to get a green card (H-1 B employ...

  • Let's face it, the star wars saga wouldn't be complete without lightsabre duels. Which light sabre duel did you think was the best. Best not only in terms of skill, but also the environment where it was taking place. My favourite is the one from the Phantom Menace; Obiwan Kenobi and Quigon Jinn vs Darth Maul.

    June 28, 2005 at 1:45pm
qui-gon vs maul was awesome technically, but I don't think they beat the luke vs vader fights which had a lot more emotion and style in them.
    June 21, 2005 at 8:56pm
Most of the light sabre duels were pretty good. My 2nd favurite of the series was Mace Windu vs. Emperor Palpatine. This battle was pretty intense. I think it will be forever d...

The Darth Maul duel doesn't make sense. Sure its luster is great, the actor does some great acrobatics and oh, theres a double sided lightsaber. But the meaning of the battle ...

  • Saif Ali Khan and Preity Zinta ?s fourth movie together, Salaam Namaste, is a romantic comedy set in Australia. The movie marks the directorial debut of Siddharth Anand, who assisted Kunal Kohli in Hum Tum . In fact, comparisons are being drawn between the two movies as Salaam Namaste tells the story of two Indian-origin characters who fall in love in Australia. Siddharth Anand is quoted by an Australian newspaper as saying that the movie is about two Indians who have left their houses to make a lif... Read More

  • Shahrukh khan and priyanka chopra have been signed on to star opposite of one another in the re-make of Amitabh Bachan's classic 'Don.' The movie is going to be directed by the director of "Dil Chahta Hai" hottie Farhan Akhtar who also directed 'Lakshya.' The movie is also said to star Akshay Kumar as the villian.

    June 23, 2005 at 8:53am
Ah, Rekha! She was a beauty. I'm sure Priyanka can do anything sexy and hot. That's what half-naked actresses do best.

Yeah, I can imagine why a wife wouldn't want her man near Priyanka. Hmm...I don't even remember Akshay in Dil To Pagal Hai - just Madhuri and Shahrukh.

  • I found this article on a muslim website today and wanted to scare you all, I mean share with you all.... Maybe there is a Jinn sitting in the corner of your room right now, or even one behind you. If so, then how will you deal with this creation of Allah? Learn Islam properly and you will be able to deal with all of Allah's creation - and not just the Jinn. By becoming true Muslims and followers of Islam, the fear of Iblis, Jinns and anything else will leave us - nothing will touch the Believer unless Allah ... Read More

  • From the Dept. of Most Encouraging Statistics: According to an Annenberg poll conducted this spring, about 40 percent of Americans consider Fox News talk show host Bill O'Reilly a "journalist" -- while only 30 percent of the people surveyed said they considered famed Washington Post reporter Bob Woodward to be one. (The poll was conducted from March 7 to May 2, before Mark Felt was revealed to be Deep Throat, but even if that news had boosted Woodward's number another 10 percent, would a tie between the two take...
