Hello all, I was driving back home late in the night. I turned left and saw the most amazing moon of all my life. I was astonished ! The moon was much more bigger than it is usually, with a light blue color. It seems to be so near of earth! I saw it twice, and now i always have my cam to try to catch it! Can someone explain me what it was, why and when it happens ? Thanks :)
December 11, 2005 at 1:24amYes that enlarged moon you can usually see around the 14th day of the lunar month every month. I've always enjoyed seeing that. Yes it is an optical illusion!
December 9, 2005 at 12:54pmIt was probably a full moon seen at a low point out in the horizon. Maybe the atmosphere had some clear clouds that reflected the blueness into your eyes.

Is it just me or do fake cockney accents by american actors really bug you? Dick Van Dyke (Poor sod for being named that btw) really messes it up in Mary Poppins. Which other actors have done a bad job at it? Gwynith Paltrow didnt do too well either in one of her movies.
