the soil in my area is very poor clay. Not just any clay, but "throw a pot on the wheel" clay. You'd probably waste a year trying to improve it into anything decent, so I went with a raised bed (cinderblocks!) since I like intensive gardening methods. This will be my fourth year of gardening, 3rd year doing intensive/square foot type of planting.
May 25, 2005 at 11:05pmVery good idea! You need to keep the soil fresh and AIRY, It is the best way to keep healthy roots and overall plant growth. When spreading the plant food make sure to dig the s...May 24, 2005 at 11:52amdid you test your soil's acidity? Sometimes that's a good thing-- at least with the clay here, it's helped immensely...

Was walking around London in the early morning, my head full of thoughts and a bit of grief in my heart. Didn't really have any direction, I just followed my heart. Wandered near St. Paul's and sat on the steps. Then opted for an extended walk along the Thames. What if the Thames could talk? What would it say? I suppose the Thames is a woman. Don't know why, I think it's because women are generally more interesting than men, and she interests me. I thought, 'If the Thames could talk, then she would have warne... Read More

I have suffered for many years because of the various time-consuming methods of hair removal that I have had to endure, from threading to waxing to shaving. Oddly enough, shaving has been my mortal enemy for many years, because I often cut myself shaving, plus I never get a "smooth shave." Even right after I shave my legs, it still looks like I have stubble. What are the secrets of getting a smooth shave when shaving your legs? Also, has anyone ever had to remove hair from the stomach, and if so, what procedure ... Read More

My convt. do show some body roll in tight turns. Now that one of my friends here has lowered his 330i, I am also thinking of lowering mine.. Has anybody done that here... any suggestions for/against this ?
June 4, 2005 at 4:55pmI should say that san diego has pretty good roads here, but anyways i'll try to add the support bar and see if that makes enough difference. Thanks guys for the input.May 31, 2005 at 11:05amLowering is inadvisable in areas that have rough pavement or roads. Atheist in Trouble An atheist was spending a quiet day fishing when suddenly his boat was attacked by the Loch Ness monster. In one easy flip, the beast tossed him and his boat high into the air. Then it opened its mouth to swallow both. As the man sailed head over heels, he cried out, "Oh, my God! Help me!" At once, the ferocious attack scene froze in place, and as the atheist hung in mid-air, a booming voice came down from the clouds, "I thought you didn't believe in Me!" "Come on God, give me a brea... Read More
