ASSuming it's ok to play games at the beginning of a relationship because: A) too shy/coy to speak openly about something B) feel due to your gender, you can't discuss/express something or the very least be indirect C) want to test the waters with the opportunity of not 'technically' sharing your thoughts D) Misc. Should there or is there an 'expiration date or period' when the games should stop and direct communication be the standard? 1 day, week, month, year, decade, last breath?

I heard that in Islam it is permitted for a husband to hit his wife if she "disobeys him" or is "disrespectful" to him, as long as he does not injure her. Is that correct?

The Voyager 1 probe is getting very close to the edge of the Solar System. Launched in 1977, the craft is now some 14 billion km (8.7 billion miles) from the Sun and on the cusp of deep space. American space agency (Nasa) scientists told a conference in New Orleans on Tuesday that Voyager was moving through a region known as the heliosheath. This is a vast, turbulent expanse where the Sun's influence ends and particles blown off its surface crash into the thin gas that drifts between the stars. Soon ... Read More

salaams all, I'm moving to London this fall insha'allah to study for a couple of years at London Business School. Life in a big city isn't that new for me (I grew up in NYC) but life in London will certainly be a new experience. So will returning to a student budget. Anyone have any tips for finding a place to live? The school is on the edge of Regent's Park and is a couple of blocks away from the Central Mosque. I'd like to live as close enough to the school and in Zone 1 if possible. Ideas, anyone?

Time and time again life takes an unexpected U turn. While I blindly follow its lead instead of letting it burn. And I know where this road has led me before All I have to do is follow the sun in the rear view or find the next detour. But as I take 1 last look at the beaten path. I put myself on reverse gear towards the last turning track. And theres the curb where she waits for 1 last ride. All she did was smile, telling me it's going to be alright.
