" I think this is the worst thing that can happen to me". the wise man replied "maybe, maybe not". this man was angry at the wise man and says "how dare you say that? my only means of lively hood is gone and you are saying maybe , maybe not. surely you are a mad man not a wise man" and he left. as he was walking back to his house, he saw a very ... • He is one of the writers most of the people in Pakistan dont want to talk about as they have a feeling that accepting that fact that v have read him or rather just reading him would be like commiting blasphemy. Without getting into a religious debate about this, i think SHAME and MIDNIGHTS CHILDREN are two of the best works of contemporary fiction,by a Pakistani writer, so far. If anyone of you has read them please do comment on what u think of them as mere works of fiction.

    September 11, 2005 at 8:38pm
i wrote my thesis on Midnight's Children. i loved how he treated the relationship between Pakistan and India.

  • Salam! This village seems dead, so i thought id post this here :) I was reading some fetwas online and I came across one that really cracked me up! Q. Girls in MSA are so stupid. Can we kill them? A. Walaikum assalam wa rahmatullah, I pray that you are well, and in the best of health and spirits. May Allah grant you all good in this life and the next. No, it would remain haram to kill them. Human life is inviolable, and stupidity isn't a Shariah-countenanced reason to shed inviolable human blood..... Read More

Here in the Bay Area there are many such organizations which collects tax deductible items and send them back to India and Pakistan why not back to the middle east? Do you know of such organizations that might already exist? Can you recommend one?
