The irony contained in the last sentence of this poignant yet succinctly written book leaves little doubt in my mind about Achebe's excellent authorship. I'd love to hear comments on this book and his other work as well, as I'd also like to add Arrow of God to my reading list.

chances are more than one of you have hiked/ran half-dome at yosemite (not really much of a technical climb)... wha'ts the fastest you've done it? i did something crazy two summers ago and drove there from san jose on 3 hours of sleep to meet a friend; hiked all the way up, stopped, took pictures, tightened my camelPack, ran down, :) and then drove back the same afternoon (to try and catch a jagjit singh concert in oakland that evening. lol). had the most glorious sleep that night!

Education. Essential for mental and spiritual development. The education of our youth is critical and a factor that every parent ponders upon. How fit are the schools? How knowledgeable are the faculty members and how well do they teach? Does the school have the essential tools and are up to date in technology? With the vast amount of schools all over the country, be them public or private; would you send your children to a public or private school? Or would it not matter to you?

Salaams, I am moving to Albany to attend law school, so I kind of needed advice. I am debating between living in the suburbs (I'll have a car) or living in downtown.
